Chest tattoos

The back and chest are the biggest areas on the body to have a tattoo. If you want a giant big tattoo then a chest tattoo might be something for you. Of course you do not have to have a big full chest tattoo on your chest, you could also have a small. A small upper chest tattoo might fit better if you are a girl or woman. Chest tattoos are popular with both male and women but are mostly seen on men.

Chest tattoos for men

The chest are more commonly tattooed on men, male chest tattoos are often a tribal pattern design, tribal chest tattoos can cover the shoulder and chest or it can even be a half or full sleeve piece that goes over the shoulder and on to half chest area, sometimes the tribal pattern goes up from chest to neck as well. If only one shoulder is tattooed then the tribal pattern only covers half the chest area. Cross tattoos on the chest are also very popular chest tattoo for men, it is a religious tattoo that is perfect as a big piece on the chest. Text or words that cover the chest can also bee seen on men. A cool idea is the tiger scratch inked on this area, it might not be the most original idea around but it is still one of the coolest, other ideas are Superman or Spiderman symbols, dragon or Celtic variations.

Female chest tattoos
These designs on girls are different from the males. They are often small and are feminine motives like hearts, flowers, names in memory, treasure chest, butterflies, red roses, and stars. These female chest tattoos can be very sexy and have small private motives that are only seen when topless. In general these tattoos are not very visible and are often covered by shirts, they are only seen when shirtless or if you have a big one that goes up on the neck. If you are looking for a big tattoo that you want to show off when shirtless or if you are a girl and want a small sexy one in a private place, then this is something for you. Take a look at pictures of different chest tattoo pieces before you decide witch one you want.
